Question : Sometimes when I am sitting at my desk, my nose begin to bleed. I am not touching it or anything. It just bleeds. Happens once every 6 weeks or so....then nothing for months.....
Brief Answer:
Please check your blood pressure...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Dry nasal mucosa bleeds to touch and sometimes with forceful sneezing. Since you report it occurs randomly my first step of action will be to get your blood pressure checked. High blood pressure is the most common cause of nasal bleeding.
At this point, I would like to know if you are on regular medications for ailments - drugs like aspirin and/or anticoagulants.
Hope I have answered your query.
