Brief Answer:
It is normal. Nothing needs to be done about it. Continue breast feeding

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

Let me assure you that for a child below 6 months it is normalto passstool 10 times a day or after every feed (it is also normal to pass stool once in 10 days). Since it is normal, nothing needs to be done about it. Greenish stools are acceptable and occur due to rapid transit of teh fecal matter through the large intestine where it does not get adequate time for the bile pigments to get converted to the yellow colour of stool. It is not a cause of concern and does not require treatment. If the child is exclusively breast fed, nothing needs to be given additionally (not even enterogermina) and all you need to do is to continue breast feeding.

Abdominal colics may occur due to ingestion of air along with feeds (which causes abdominal distension). Decolic or Colicaid drops (contains Simethicone) can be given for relief if the child is crying excessively. Proper burping is also important.

Hope taht helps.
