Question : my dermatologist is prescribing Toctino for a severe case of psoriasis which I have had now for over a year. at first it cleared it up almost completely, but when the dosage (30mg) was taken down from daily to three times a week, the psoriasis came back and now even tho' I have gone back to daily, it is not clearing up at all. and I am also losing my hair....not the end of the world, I know, but are there any other options we should be considering. I understand Toctino is really for eczema .....

There are various treatment options available like methotrexate, cyclosporin, biological agents and photo therapy but the decision regarding which treatment to be started in you can be taken by a dermatologist after evaluating you completely.
Besides this keep your body moisturised by applying lots of moisturising lotion and oil on your body.
