Question : I have developed soft stools consistently over the past two weeks. This is concerning as I have a history of lymphoma. I do not have any other symptoms.

Brief Answer:
Try dietary changes first....

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concern.

Having developed soft stools over the past 2 weeks might be related to any change in your diet or medications you might be taking.

If soft stool is also associated with any of the following symptoms like:
- blood/mucus in stool
- very dark stool
- severe abdominal cramps
- fever or any other unusual symptom,
- urge to go to pass the stool

then you should be worried and should ask for medical help.

Otherwise, and if you are not taking any lymphoma medication, you should be not worried. Just change your dietary habits:
- avoid foods that would cause your stool to be soft (pear, kiwi, etc.)
- increase fluids intake
- take probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora

Hope it helped.
