Question : my 6 year old grgranddaughter's tongue sloghs off large patches of skin at frequent intervals. She says it isn't painful. There is apicture on the internet but no explanation? What is it please

Such lesions are tongue ulcers.
This could be due to a number of causes, commonest being multivitamin deficiency.
The other causes include stress, gastritis, esoinophilia, etc
To begin with try adding multivitamin supplements once daily.
You need to increase fruits and vegetables to ensure antioxidant supply you prevent further peeling.
