Question : Hi,
I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING URETRITIS SYMPTOMS FOR THE LAST 3 MONTHS. STARTED WITH ITCHING IN THE PENIS AND VERY MINOR TRANSPARENT DISCHARGE. GOT CIPRO, THEN BACTRIM, FLAGYL, ZYTROMAX, AND ITCHING CONTINUES. I HAVE NO BURNING WHILE URINATING, BUT CONSTANT ITCHING.DOCTOR PERFORMED CYSTOSCOPY AND RESULTS WHERE OK FOR BLADDER,PROSTATE AND URETHRA. Urine was tested for gonorrea and chlamydia and results were negative. Frequent urination continues. I Had a hypospadia when was 5 yrs old. I had protected sex with a woman 3 months ago. 4 days later the symptoms started. I used condom, however after having had sex I did not clean my genitals until next day.....

It was repaired at age 5.

At this time, I will want to stop every treatment attempt and observe only. I believe we have been too aggressive and this is certainly the greatest source of confusion. There is no emergency here and there is no need to go out all aggressive without thinking further. Let's do this and follow up in a week to understand what the symptoms are and start acting accordingly in a logical and meaningful way. We really need this therapeutic window in order to address these worries.
