Brief Answer:
investigation is required...

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

his vital signs are fine. What raises concerns is the increased frequency of urination and lethargic state. In a patient like him the first thing to check should be the blood sugar. Diabetes may cause all these symptoms... (frequent urination, loosing weight, being sleepy).

A general check-up would be helpful. The following tests would have to be included: complete blood count, urea, creatinine, glucose, transaminases, sodium, potassium, calcium, thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), urinalysis and C-reactive protein.

Depending on the results, more tests might be needed.

The complete blood count may detect anemia. High urea and creatinine are very important indicators of renal disease. Glucose can be high in diabetes. The transaminases can be found high in various disorders that cause sleepiness. The electrolytes should always be checked in sleepy patients. The same applies for TSH. C-RP may help to detect a not so obvious infection. Finally the urinalysis may detect a urinary tract infection or other problems in the kidneys.

If he's done any tests so far, please upload the results. They will be very helpful.

Kind regards!
