Brief Answer:
Valsartan and increased urination

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

I am sorry to hear that since starting the valsartan you have been waking more often needing to urinate. This can be expected with valsartan as it helps improve blood flow through your kidneys. This should improve with time but if it doesn't then I recommend you talk to your medical provider to switch or change your medication.

The muscle burning may also be a side effect from the valsartan. You may want to try tylenol to reduce that burning. Again it is not dangerous side effect just annoying. If it is intolerable then again see your medical provider for possible change in medication

I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions
