Question: Hello,
My baby is 5 months old and she is passing urine around 20 to 25 times a day.previoysly she was on breast feed and now started giving formula milk as well.but the frequency is not changed.I asked my paediatrician he said its fine and its mean baby is well hydrated as long as she is gaining weight. My baby is gaining weight gradually half a kilo per minth. Now she is 5.5kg for 5 months.
Is it okay or should be a problem?

Brief Answer:
Your pediatrician is right - you need not worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi...your pediatrician is right. You need not worry about her passing too many times urine. As per history you have provided for my inquiries, your daughter is gaining weight steadily and appropriately and is a healthy kid.

The reason for increased urination could be the climate and ambient temperature.
