Question : I have just come off 14 day treatment of fluconazole for a vaginal yeast infection. however I still have an itchy sore vulva, pain after urinating and frequent urination. could the infection be still there?

Hello dear, I understand your health issue.
It is most probably due to residual inflammation after yeast infection, it is common but take a note of the following -
- wear a cotton based underwear and change it daily
- wash perineal region with vWash liquid after bath
- use condom while having sex
- apply candid - B ointment twice a day for 7 days or till itching persists.
- get your blood sugar levels checked
In case itching and swelling persists or worsens then visit your gynecologist for examination.
