Question : I am going to the bathroom very frequently day and night. When I get up at night, I will wet on myself before I can get to the bathroom. I do not burn when I use the bathroom. If I am out somewhere, if I do not use the bathroom about every 1 1/2hours, I have a problem. This has been going on for about 2 weeks. I have take OTC AZO, but it did not seem to help. I have really cut back on soda and am only drinking tea and water. Can you give me any advice about this? I thought about trying to find a urologist and make an appointment.

Brief Answer:
Features suggestive of Over active bladder.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Ma am, Hi
Welcome to HCM.

I appreciate your concern for the increasing urge and the frequency of urination.

After having gone through your symptoms diligently, I am of the opinion that you have some sort of over active bladder which could be due to infection (almost ruled out by a course of antibiotic), uncontrolled diabetes, suspected nerve injury resulting in weakening of the pelvic floor muscles or loss of estrogen after menopause , etc.

Yes, you may please consult a urologist for proper evaluation and treatment.
Best regards.
