What Causes Frequent Urination?

Looks to be urinary tract infection as per history, need investigations...
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood that you had frequency of urination for which you were prescribed Cipro and this symptom got lessened but the pain in both sides of abdomen started. No radiation - no other symptoms.
Such a problem may be due to urinary tract infection which has now spread to the kidneys and hence the bilateral abdominal problem.
I would advise you the following:
First of all send your Urine sample for tests:Routine, microscopy, culture and sensitivity (may be negative as you have already taken Cipro, but still to be done).
Tests of blood for WBC
Ultrasonography of hte abdomen.
Continue Ciprofloxacin 500 in twice a day dosages for 7 to 14 days for complete cure.
Drink plenty of oral fluids.
Once the diagnosis is made, the tests will decide which further tests or medicines to be added.
I hope this answer helps you to get a proper diagnosis, and get a proper further treatment. Please feel free to ask for more if you need to or if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
