Question : i have been suffering from fungal infection frm past 2 months.It has affected my groin region,my thighs and my buttocks.It has caused huge discolouration too.I am currently having 150mg flucanazole tablets in a day.Doctor has asked me to take it for one week.Will this help?? is this infection jock itch or candidiasis?? please help me.

Thanks for the query.
Groin region is susceptible to develop jock itch.
Tablet fluconazole should be taken twice a week for at least 8 weeks. Only 7 day course is not going to help you. Apart from this also apply ointment clotrimazole in night and powder clotrimazole in morning.
Do this regularly for at least 2 months.
You will get good response with it.
