Question : Sir,..I have been having gas and bloating 2-3 hours after meals.I have symptoms for last 2 months. The symptoms are more with protein food like chicken, almonds, eggs etc.I also have some belching and feel tired after eating food.I avoid dairy, wheat products.I have no acidity, nausea, vomiting, pain, diarrhea ,constipation or fevers. No blood in stools. My stools are usually semi-formed.I was given treatment for possible gastritis with proton pump inhibitors and pepcid, but i have no relief.I don't smoke or drink.i had blood test done.I was told i do not have anemia,my cholesterol is normal, liver function test was normal, lipase was normal .i did not have any diabetes or thyroid issues.I had a ultrasound gallbladder which was normal.I am otherwise healthy,go to gym and eat a clean diet.Prior to my symptoms i ate everything with no issues.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your medical history and feel sorry for the situation you are in.
Your symptoms are indicative for possible:
- malapsorption : specific (serological/fecal) malabsorption tests are advised
- intestinal candida infection: culture of stool is needed
- intestinal parasitic infection: examination of stool for ova/parasites advised
For the moment, you can continue with your current medications and diet changes.
Wish fast recovery!
