What Causes Gas And Indigestion With Negative UPT?

Question: can I be pregnant? it has been 7 weeks since last contact. I had a light period a little over a week later. He did not ejaculate inside me but the condom did break at some point and I took a plan B pill the fillowing morning. I have taken over twenty urine test and five blood test all negative. I went and saw an OBGYN at 3 weeks he gave me a blood test and pap smear and said I wasn't pregnancy. He gave me birth control I took it and 3 days later had breast secretion that was white and clear. I went back the the doctor he told me he was still sure I wasn't pregnant. I got a transvaginal ultrasound done at 4 weeks and saw nothing. I stopped taking birth control and the secretion stopped and I started another period that was very heavy for one days then very light again. I have very erect nipples, very heavy gas, a sour stomach and a white discharge in the toilet. Is there a way to know a hundred percent? If I get a transvaginal ultrasound done at 8 weeks can the baby be missed? what else could these symptoms mean? Is cryptic pregnancy a possibly?

Brief Answer:
not pregnant

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Pregnancy result in the production of the HCG hormone. As pregnancy progresses the level of this hormone in the body increases significantly.

It is detectable by normal pregnancy tests by day 11 to 14 after conception. Since it is 7 weeks post contact, if you were pregnant HCG levels would have long risen to a level that they would have been detectable by pregnancy tests.
The blood tests can pick up the HCG hormone even earlier than the urine tests.

Repeated normal urine and blood pregnancy tests effectively rule out pregnancy. In addition , at 4 weeks there would have been changes in the uterus on ultrasound that would have been detected if you were pregnant.

The fact that all of these tests are negative mean that you are not pregnant. It would have been detected by now. These tests would have shown up changes weeks ago.

Gas and indigestion can be related to intolerance or allergies to certain foods, use of foods more commonly associated with gas production (certain vegetables), GERD, celiac disease.

White discharge can be related to yeast infection though the normal discharge some women see may also be white. Your doctor can do a swab to determine if it is yeast infection. If it is it can be easily treated either with an oral tablet or vaginal creams/ovules

Erect nipples also do not indicate that you are pregnant.

The tests are conclusive- you are not pregnant. Hormonal changes occur with ANY pregnancy and these hormonal changes would have been detected

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions

Brief Answer:
breast discharge can occur with manipulation

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Sorry about the delayed response

It is understandable to be worried about the idea of unplanned pregnancy but the nature of pregnancy demands that hormonal change must occur. In pregnancy HCG levels DOUBLE every 2 to 3 days. There is no chance that by this time or even weeks prior that HCG would not be detectable.

Nipple discharge is not only an indicator of pregnancy. Manipulation of the breast can result in discharge from the nipple. In some women even vigorous exercise or irritation of the breasts by the bra can result in a nipple discharge.

Hope this reassures you
