Question : I have had bad gas pressure in upper stomach in back between shoulder blades off & on for 24 hrs I had EKG run & it was negative& I haven't eaten anything that I think would cause it

Pressure or gas in the upper abdomen indicates acid peptic disease. This may include increased acidity in the stomach.

I suggest you to take a course of antacid like Tab Prilosec OTC for a week and observe. If the discomfort continues then do get an Upper GI endoscopy done to rule out other conditions that can cause such problems.
