Hi,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.

If you would have presented to me as an outpatient with this query in your mind,I would have told you that gliotic lesions in centrum semiovale most commonly represents old small vessel insult to this region of which chief etiologies are-
1)Hypertension
2)Vasculitis syndromes or connective tissue disorders
3)Diabetes
4)Normal variants-In about 10-15%,they can be normally seen
Uncommon causes-
1)Migraine
2)Chronic epilepsy
3)Addictions

So,if loss of memory and hallucinations are your only symptoms, you need to undergo a neurological and mini-mental examination in order to find any abnormalities and thus establish the diagnosis.

Please follow-up with a detailed medical history so that I can make some clinical impression regarding this.
Meanwhile, please get screened for high blood pressure and high blood sugar.

If this answers your query, please close the thread-rate it and write a review as your rating will be of help to me else I shall be glad to have you in follow-up.
