Question : I have been experiencing frequent bowel movements with all the feces floating. They also, for lack of a better way of putting it, explode periodically, I'm assuming because of gas. I had a full colon workup last XXXXXXX including a colonoscopy. prior to the procedure that because of the multiple meds i take that I am prone to constipation and am now taking miralax and benefiber 2-3X most days, except when i have periods of multiple lose and floating stools. The colonoscopy confirmed that I am gluten intolerant.
I'm not yet concerned about this matter. However, because it has gone on for several months I am curious as to the possible cause or causes.

Brief Answer:
Cause is most likely gluten intolerance
Detailed Answer:
Dear patient,
if you are gluten intolerant your description fits symptoms after gluten intake. You haven't mentioned if you are following a gluten free diet now. If not that would be strongly advisable, which will most likely make you feel a lot better.
Best regards
