Question : I used a tampon. I am 42. I have for the first time found green on the tip of the tampon was green. I also have been having severe anal itching, that if itched developed in blood. Took the pill for yeast infection 2x.......it has gotten better, but sometimes my anal area is still sensitive. The anal problems started a month or so ago...

I went through the query and understood your concern.

The green secretion may be due to pseudomonal or fungal infection. If the symptoms continues get the secretion examined under microscope for confirming the diagnosis and its management.

Since the symptoms has improved with antifungal agent you can continue the same with antihistamine drug like cetrizine or loratidine for itching.

For anal problem the most common cause for itching or irritation or even any infection is moistness. So keep the area clean and dry and if any per rectal bleeding or intestinal problem need to take care of.
Use antiseptics like povidine iodine lotion( betadine) for cleaning the area.
Use sundried inner wears. These measures will help you.
