Question: I am 13 weeks in and had a cerclage put in three days ago. Today I have had a yellow discharge. Then when I went pee a minute ago it was a green discharge. I have been on amoxicillin since my procedure(5ml). It didn't smell. Should I be worried?

Brief Answer:
Nothing worrisome.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
A yellowish and greenish discharge could be due to remnants of betadine that might have been used during the procedure 3 days ago. Since there is no associated foul smell or itching an infection is less likely.
It is best to self monitor for next 2-3 days and let the discharge subside on its own. In case the discharge is persistent or is associated with other symptoms like foul smell or itching then it is best to consult your gynecologist for a vaginal swab culture.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
