Question : my daughter has bald patches on one side of her head now spreading on other side
Brief Answer:
Alopecia areata
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
Your daughter has been experiencing hair loss in large patches. These patches are now appearing on both side of her scalp. She has alopecia areata which is hair loss presumed from an autoimmune disorder. I would recommend that she be seen by a dermatologist. Sometime injections of steroid at the edge of the hair loss may prevent additional loss.
I hope I answered your question. Please contact HCM again with your health care concerns
