Question : Recently I've been having this after every meal I eat, big or small. The gurgling is loud....had colostomy reversal 2 2-1/2 years ago and hernia repair surgery 20 months ago. Recently having soreness in surgery locations, as well as nausea. PCP mentioned possible ulcers. Your opinion?

Based on the facts of your query, In My opinion-
You seem to suffer from -post-operative adhesive partial obstructions with mild entero-colitis, which seem to recur off and on lately, with soreness in the surgical scars.
Colostomy reversal seems to be the origin of this adhesive obstructions mostly.
Hernia repair 20 mths ago, needs to be ruled out as cause of this,and is a remote possibility in My opinion
Do's-Suggested-
Consult GI surgeon who operated on you.
Get the physical examination and USG abdomen.
If need be CT abdomen with Contrast study- to assess the colostomy reversal,needs to be thought off.
Remedy-
-Tab CIPROFLOXACIN 500 mg twice Daily for 10 days- course with antiamoebic drugs to treat accompanied mild Entero-Colitis present in your case
-Keep Low on Solid diet with stress more on liquids to control the symptoms/ complaints you have.
-Darolac Sachet(Lactic Acid) - to balance the disturbed intestinal and colonic bacterial flora,
-Evaluate your health concerns with Consults from Surgeon and GI-Surgeon thereafter.
