Question : When I hold my arm or hand to the area around my left nipple/chest area or press this area against something i can feel like a rushing/gurgling, almost like I can feel the blood rushing through my chest or heart?, is this normal or something of concern. I don't think it is like palpitations and my hear rate is a constant even 65bpm at rest.

                                    Brief answer...It seems perfectly normal
Detailed answer...
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
Such type of sounds which you hear are perfectly normal and it is due to the rush of blood through your heart and the sound of rush of blood gets transmitted to your hand through chest muscles.
If you are not having any chest pain or breathlessness or uneasiness on exercises, then you should not worry and simply forget it.
I hope it helps, however you may revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks

Thank you. Just to clarify I don't hear this but feel it in my chest, when the heart area is compressed. Is that normal? I do not have chest pains or breathlessness and my BP is normal. Why would I suddenly start to notice this? Thank you

                                    Hello,
It is nothing but increased sense of perception and moreover since you are looking for it,you are getting the feel more.In my opinion, you are simply giving more attention to it.
I again assure you that there is nothing abnormal abut it.
Thanks
