Question : Hi I got the virus chukungunya & was sick with fever & vomiting for 6 weeks. About a month later my hair started falling out every time I showered shampooed & conditioned my hair. It's has thinned out quite a bit. Chunks of hair fell out & a large amount would remain in my hands. Is this going to stop & will the hair grow back?

Hair loss after chikungunya fever is common in many persons and this type of hair loss is called telogen effluvium.
It will take 3-6 months to settle.
Don't worry as it will settle.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to take hair supplements like tablet keraglo XXXXXXX or tablet adgain once daily for 3-4 months and apply antihair fall serum like anaboom anti hair fall serum twice daily for 3-4 months.
This will first stop hair fall followed by regrowth of hair.
