Brief Answer:
More information needed about your symptoms.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your query and understand your concerns.

It is very important for me to examine at least the MRI report, in order to give you a honest opinion about your condition.

However, when is not possible, I should ask you to describe in details your symptoms, such as nature of the symptoms, time of start, duration, changes of symptoms during the day, factors and drugs that may improve them or get them worse, and, if any, other medical conditions you suffer from.

As a start, if there was shrinking of tumor it is most probably a Meningioma, and if it caused psychiatric symptoms is located at frontal lobe(s).

Awaiting for more information about your symptoms......,

My side affects are many. Let me tell you, I have trouble typing now and if something doesn't make sense, please let me know. I was intelligent. Now I have trouble remembering words, completing thoughts, even drop sentences, cause I can't think of the word or the thought. My hands are shaking progressively. I don't have balance or focus. My head hurts all the time, and my eyes don't focus. I have a lot of pain behind my left eye. I have been stepping on my dog, because I don't see her. I am thinking about giving her away. That breaks my heart so much. I am constantly falling into walls or over things I don't know are there. I forget how to work my phone and the computer. I forget what bills I have or where I put them, hard companies and computer. This is taking so long to write because I have to stop and try to remember what the next word is. These side affects began, I think, the end of 2014 and slowly became worse. Lately it has became more serious faster. I am always tired. I have been on Zolfran for over a year, yet I am nauseated all the time. I forget where the letters are on the computer so sometimes I have to look at the keyboard. I don't know what I am doing most of the time and have to leave the room and try to figure it out. I am very weak.. I have always been independent, so now I have to live with my brother, and he doesn't know what is going on with me. My daughter is very successful with her business and wants me to run a new office program, but I can't make sense of it. I don't talk to anyone any more cause I sound stupid and uneducated or even crazy. I used to do math in my head. My mood is so unpredictable. I can still carry on an intelligent conversation sometimes and it even surprises me! That's why I know I'm not crazy

I have had a double fusion in my neck in 97, it has begun to heart badly again since last year! I had a lumbar laminectomy last year. The doctor just did an ultra sound on it on the 22 when I had my MRI. I don't know the results yet. It has a lump on it. They found hypothyroidism and goiter since 1980. I have reflux, gurd and a hernia where the stomach and esophagus connect and spasmodic esophagus. I am also a diabetic. I am treated like a psych patient be cause there is so much going on. I stopped going to a certain VA because I was not getting proper care. I now see private sector doctors, but I do have a home VA elsewhere.

I will get the records and the films. Let me tell you something. I used to be a party planner, I was active and fit. I always took care of myself, now I ashamed to go in public. I am 100% service connected for severe PTSD. I loved the military. It was sexual trauma. I have to take a break. I'll send you my medication list. It is long. The VA likes to treat with meds.

My moto has always been-I don't lie because nothing gets done right. If I am not honest with a doctor I can not be treated properly. I scream at the top of my lungs (internally) for someone to help me. My stomach drops when I see someone ride a bike. I love swimming, but I tried. I can't walk more than around the house because of my back and now because I stagger to much. I am not crazy, but I ask myself constantly. I don't know why I should keep on. But, I have so much to do yet. I do see a therapist every week.

Brief Answer:
Detailed explanations below.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back XXXXXXX and thanks for the clarifications.

Sorry to hear what you have been through.

Hypothyroidism, goiter, GERD and hiatal hernia, together with spine problems, are all conditions that need to be treated mainly by drugs.

All these health issues off course cause and psychological symptoms and issues too.

Side effects of drugs you use affect also general health condition and everyday functioning.

About your first question, the tumor also could play a part in these symptoms, especially if it is located at frontal lobes can cause psychological symptoms too, including memory problems lack of energy, problems with everyday functioning.

If the tumor location is thought to be at least partially responsible of your symptoms, in my opinion it should be treated. (MRI results needed.)

A reevaluation of drugs you use also should be discussed with your treating Doctor. Maybe there is need to reduce some of the drugs and their dosage.

In my opinion you should consult a Psychologist and discuss your issues. This doesn't mean that you are crazy.

If you will upload the list of drugs you use and the MRI results, i remain at your disposal to review them and share my opinion.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Wishing you good health.

I will get you the MRI's and the stenosis in my neck. The reports will, also, be included. I have just taken pictures of my prescription bottles but can't remember how to send them. I have sent pictures of my bottles before. I, also, with my doctor, trying to figure out my meds to get off of some. We have been considering the tumor because of the symptoms, that 's why the doctor ordered it. I got an urgent call which ended up going to my brothers' phone and the doctor said she was sitting by her desk waiting on my call. She said it serious. I gave her the neurologist in the XXXXXXX WI Va and suddenly she said it wasn't anything because it even got smaller. I am just searching for the reason for my mind and body problems. This is not the way I should be. What can a psychologist do for me?
One more thing. I appreciate your sentiment, but I do not like sympathy at all! I want answers and ways to get better. I don't like people to look down on me, that's why I don't have contact with anyone any more. It is so pathetic and sickening, and I don't want anyone to know! I hate this disgusting life. I had plans to move to Costa Rica and put over three years of research into it, and I'm still not there. My family and doctors told me I cannot travel in my condition. I don't want anyone to know I haven't gone yet, so I don't even use Facebook any longer. I have contacted a psychologist in your group of doctors. Thank you for your time
