Question: I have a hard bump on bottom of my penis shaft. It has been there for about a week and has been growing and turning hard and getting sensitive. Tonight I squeezed it and it popped and a yellow fluid came out and now it is ozzing blood. Cyst?

Brief Answer:
? Sebaceous cyst

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to healthcare magic.

I understand from your query that you are having a lump on your penis.

From your history and description, I would consider the possibility of a sebaceous cyst.

It is a cyst arising from the skin and glandular structures.

Since you have squeezed it, you could apply a topical antibiotic like 2 % mupirocin or 1 % fusidic acid to prevent infection.

It could reappear again as its contents can refill.

Please consult a dermatologist or a general surgeon to get it totally excised.

It will not harm you even if you leave it alone. But in some cases, it could get infected.

Hope this helps you.

If you have any more queries, I will be glad to assist.

Regards,
Dr. Johny Chacko
