1)What is the exact location of the lump? Right between anus and vagina closer to vagina
Approximate size?smaller than a dime
2)is it tender to touch? A little but not so much
3)How was the exposure? It was exposed only when having sex was it protected? And every time we do use a condom
4)Any signs of inflammation like surrounding edema/redness? A little red only because I touched it
Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry.
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,thanks for the information.
This is unlikely related to intercourse.
There are two possibilities.
1)If this is exactly in the midline, and there is no definite tenderness, this may just indicate your perineal body-a fibro muscular mass between anus and vagina(this is normal only) that gives XXXXXXX to perineal muscles.
2)The second possibility is beginning of a soft tissue infection(perineal abscess). But,usually this is a very painful condition. This will need antibiotic treatment.
So,right now you need not do anything.Just watch it for 2-3 days.If the size/pain/tenderness increases, kindly see your doctor for antibiotic treatment;otherwise, just forget.
Hope this will answer your query.
Wishing you good health.
Thank you.
