Brief Answer:
Can be a Hematoma or Abscess- Takes 1 to 3 weeks for resolution

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.

I would like to know a few things, please tell me::
Did the lump develop immediately or after a few days after the injection?
Is there pain ? If yes- is it mild or severe?
Any Fever / chills ?

If the lump developed immediately, this may be a hematoma and may may take about 1 to 3 weeks for resolution. Pain may be mild to moderate.

If there is an associated infection, the pain will be severe and throbbing in nature, there may be associated fever and / or chills, Skin may be red is lump is superficial and normal if it is deep.

It is advised the lump be seen by a Surgeon to decide the cause, get the proper treatment in the form of an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines, and ask for investigations like:
Blood- CBC, Sugar
Urine.
High Resolution Ultrasonography if diagnosis is doubtful.

Regular follow-up necessary.

I hope this answer helps you to get a proper diagnosis, and get a proper further treatment. Please feel free to ask for more or if you need further clarifications if you feel there is a gap of communication.

Most probably a Hematoma.

Most probably a hematoma then.
Nothing much to worry.
Yet better to consult a Surgeon once so that you get a confirmatory diagnosis and get a prescription.
