Brief Answer:
yes you should

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing to HealthcareMagic.

There are quiet a few possibilities for your swelling.

It could be a lymph node, sebaceous cyst or swelling arising from your parotid gland. All these can present with similar symptoms.

But to come to a diagnosis, it needs a clinical evaluation.

So i would suggest that you show it to a general surgeon, to help reach a diagnosis and if you want, he can even remove it on opd basis under local anaesthesia.

Its not an emergency, and the swelling is most probably not harmful, so you can show it at your convenience.

Hope i have been helpful.
