What Causes Hardning Of Vein Next To The Clitoris?

Question: Hi, um, I have noticed that the vein right next to my clitoris regularly seems to get hard (usually around my period, every two or three months or so), and the area around it starts itching most terribly. I have been tested as to risk of stroke etc, and they found nothing. I do not use any hormonal birth control, and have a normal weight and lead a healthy, vegetarian lifestyle. I am 26 years old, and have never been pregnant or anything like that. I am worried, however, also because this vein is very painful if touched (which makes any intimate contact quite awkward in these periods). It seems to go away by itself after a week or so of agony. I still wonder what it might be, and if there is any way to stop this from happening, as it is extremely uncomfortable.

Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
This problem you are facing is a little uncommon but treatable problem.
I work in a tertiary obstetric care hospital and thus i have seen and successfully treated 2 patients with similar findings.
It is a kind of ectopic uterine lining in the blood vessel adoining your clittoris and thus responsive only during periods and subsides thereafter.
I would like to tell you frankly that only permanent treatment for this is surgical ligation of the vein at source under general anaesthesia and is a simle short procedure.
Some books also mention of role of certain hormones but ever since you are a young patient and will be desirous fertility soon so i wont recommend you hormones which will interfere with conception.
