Question : after choking a few days ago quite badly i have a headache that comes and goes and i slighly sore neck i struggled for about 30 seconds and then dislodged it but was coughing still

The violent cough during this choke explains the symptoms that you experienced. Irritation often takes some time before clearing entirely and so too the cough.
