Question : I am 28 years of age. I had long sun exposure today and I am now suffering with headache, nausea and a very sore throat. I also had some mild sun exposure last week which resulted in a rash on my chest which has since cleared. I suppose I just want to know if I need medical attention. The headache is very painful and panadine forte has not helped. I have been drinking plenty of water with no help.

Brief Answer:
Possible Mild heat stroke.Will subside on its own

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam,

I understand your concern.

The symptoms in your case have possibly resulted from exposure to sun.

Most of the symptoms will subside spontaneously as it a milder event.

For headache I recommend Tab Brufen 600 mg once a day for 4 days under medical prescription.

You need not worry much.
