What Causes Headache Around The Temples And Pain Behind The Eyes?

Question: I have a headache around the temples and pain behind the eyes when moving them. Additionally I am sweating profusely at night (have to almost fall asleep for sweating to start) changing shirts and linens a few times a night. This started exactly a week ago but the headache doesn't stop, sweating happens every night. I don't have any other problems or symptoms. It started Sunday morning when I felt strangely low energy, but had to play a 2-hour tennis match in 90 degree heat. Was exhausted, but when went to bed in the evening then sweat and headache started and don't go away. Very strange, never happened before. Any suggestions?
I thought it could be related to overheating, but I drank a lot of Gatorade-type stuff, and never seemed to have low water level.
Just took an extra strength aspirin pill (500mg). Hopefully will help.

Brief Answer:
Take treatment as advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Acute onset headache may be due to stress related or some secondary cause like subarachnoid hemorrhage, stroke.
Is there any vomiting, altered behaviour, seizure, visual loss, neck pain or stiffness?
You can take Naproxen twice daily for 4-5 days.
If headache persists get examined and evaluated by a doctor preferably neurologist.
Take adequate rest and sleep.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Thanks, Dr. XXXXXXX The puzzling thing about my case is that I don't have ANY other problems: no vomiting, no other pain , seizure, nothing. What I have realized in the last couple hours is that aspirin did help !!
I think getting enough sleep (thanks God it is a weekend) will help too.
Will let you know if it worked.
Best, XXXXXXX
