Brief Answer:
Birth Control Pills, Sinus CT Scan

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

1. Birth control pills are known to cause headaches. Birth control pills do not suit every woman and are not designed for long term use.

2. An nasal and throat examination can detect an active post nasal drip. A plain Sinus CT Scan will settle the issue whether you have sinusitis or not.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any follow up queries, I will be available to answer them.

Regards.

Yes.

Hi,

Thank you for writing back.

1. Yes, hormones (including the ones used in birth control pills) and their fluctuating levels cause congestion and a stuffy nose which leads to a post nasal drip.

2. Other causes such as allergy, colds, sinusitis , acid reflux and so on may also be adding to the process.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any follow up queries, I will be available to answer them.
