Question : Sensitive to sun and bright lights while driving. This a.m. While driving lines appeared double and different colors, closed either eye and looked ok scared me recently having headaches, recent death in family husband of 47 years

Since this is the very first time that you witnessed this, it is unclear whether it has any pathological significance or not. I will recommend that you stay alert for any future recurrence. Should this happen, I will recommend at that time that we follow up with an ophthalmologist for visual evaluation to see if there are any possible visual defects. Know that visual problems that happen just once are never concerning. A real problem would happen time and again and again and again.

I understand how difficult it has been on you recently. I will recommend that you try t keep a cool head and a calm and relaxed mindset. This would ease the tension and pave the way to recovery from this great loss of your husband.
