Question : Respected Doctor,
I have been suffering from Headache for last more than 20 years. Sometime mild or sometime
severe, sometime lasts for 2-3 days, sometime no remission unless taken medicines like Paracetamol 650mg once or Vasograin + Paramet Tablets once with XXXXXXX warm water. Earlier after medicine used to give relief taking once, headache does not break out for 7-15 days, now-a-days, there is no such routine and sometimes no relief even taking the Tablet once. I have visited several doctors like Physician, Neurologist & also Homeopathy. CT Scan of brain, X-Ray of Cervical Spine AP & Lat and PA Chest X-Ray were done. Nothing abnormality came out. Doctors have primarily diagnosed it as Chronic Vascular Headache & Migraine which is said to be incurable. I took Tablet Sibelium 10mg OD for 1 month as prescribed. No result. Now I am taking Nexito Forte OD x ½ Tablet at bed time for last more than 4 years as prescribed. Still nature and occurrence of the attack are same. Sleep is normal but no improvement of Headache and sometimes it is associated with nausea/discomforting bowel. Headache normaly triggers by sweating in summer, empty stomache even for a short time, slight cold or hot exposure, car, train or bus journey, loud talking, exhaustion, tiredness, anxiety, late sleep or disturbed sleep, working on a computer, working/sitting/sleeping in a AC room, after profuse scalp/head sweating when taking food, after hair dyeing, anger or any slight uncommon or unusual situation. Presently it is going-on for last more than 15 days due to very cold atmosphere. I keep myself very cautious for these triggering factors still no excuse. I have got examined eyesight in regular course and using spectacles as advised. Recently due to cold season, it has aggravated and headache is not so severe but unbearable/discomforting and do not allow me to do normal work and I often become irritated. I have been doing also breathing exercises for last 4 years and got many other benefit but headache, anxiety and irritation are doing their own course. Would you kindly help me anyway ?

Brief Answer:
Small vessel ischemic changes.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to health care magic.

1.The possible cause of head ache with the history mentioned looks like small vessel ischemic changes in the brain.
2.In this case, I would recommend to get a MRI brain screening done, if any finding further contrast study might be needed.
3.Other things need to rectify are underlying medical condition - like hypertension and other systemic causes.
4.At the same time as you said - you can try to change the surroundings with AC surroundings.
5.Once the MRI is done if there is no findings it can be treated accordingly.

Good luck.
