Question: I am a software engineer. obviously i am spending most of my time in front of computer. In recent days i feel some sensitiveness in middle of my eyebrows. I couln't see letters in my computer clearly whereas i can see images with no issues. Is it because of seeing computer continously? Can wearing anti-glare glasses will help me?

Brief Answer:
Get your refractive status checked.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for sending in your query.

The pain in your eye brows sueggest that you are starining too much, in an attempt to accomodate for your viewing. It is an indicator that you either need to change your glasses or get your eyes tested for the possiblity of refractive error. Wearing anti glare glasses is definitely beneficial but it has got no effect on the refractive status of eye. I would suggest:

1. Get an eye examination done.

2. If it turns out to be normal, then this brow ache could be a part of computer vision syndrome.

3. Get proper lubrication for your eyes, in form of lubricating eye drops.

4. After 20 minutes of staring at the computer screen, shift your focus for atleast 20 seconds.

5. Massage your eye brows slowly by grasping them between your fingers.

6. Soothe the eyes with mildly warm compresses.

7. Inculcate certain eye exercises in your routine.

Please get back to me if you have any further query.
