Question : Hi, I'm hypothyroid and my doctor put on synthroid 125mcg about 6 weeks ago. Since then I've been getting headaches and constant stomach issues, including bloating, gas, pressure, lack of appetite etc.

Brief Answer:
Check the TSH level;

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking!
I have gone carefully through your concern.
The symptoms you described are not typically suggestive for exessive dose of levothyroxine but as there are 6 weeks since you have been taking this dose, I would suggest to check the TSH level to confirm that the dose is the right one.
If it is within the normal ranges, another cause should be found for the head and stomach pain.
Otherwise the dose should be adjusted according to TSH level result.
Hope the information will help.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
