Brief Answer:
Atherosclerosis of neck blood vessels...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The hearing rushing sounds pulsating when you stand after sitting and getting slightly dizzy with vision changes could be related to:
- atherosclerosis of blood vessels (especially of those directing to the neck and head, around ear region). Atherosclerosis causes narrowing of blood vessels which is associated with such problems.
- oscillations in blood pressure
- problems with inner ear.
I suggest to:
- monitor blood pressure
- consult a cardiologist
- do cardiac echo, EKG and holter monitoring
- measure blood sugar levels and your blood lipids
- check your eyes by ophthalmologist
Depending on the tests results, specific treatment will be prescribed.
Until then, I highly advise to continue following a healthy lifestyle and diet regimen in order to keep your cholesterol within the normal range and improve the symptoms.
Hope it helped!
