Question : My sister does at home dialysis five times a week. Yesterday she described a sensation of heart palpitations followed by a migraine and low blood pressure (84/58). How serious is this? I'm trying to convince her to notify her nephrologist but she's being a bit stubborn.

This could be very serious. She could have low potassium or low blood volume. It could result in heart attack or stroke to have her blood pressure this low. She needs to notify her doctors immediately.
Please try to convince her to be seen today by her nephrologist or in emergency
