Question : What is teh cause of heart palpitations and high BP? Is that an anxiety syndrome?

Hi

Yes, high BP and heart rate could be related to anxiety. But there are some clinical situations such as pheochromocytoma and thyroid disorders which can cause high BP and heart rate.
Also any other discomfort such as pain etc can also can cause high BP and tachycardia.

You first need to see physician or cardiologist. even they also suspect same than you need to under go blood and urine test. if they are abnormal there will be need for further tests.
