Detailed Answer:
Dear sir
Every individual has a unique range of heart rate. Heart is a continuously changing parameter which depends upon mental and physical stress. Although normal range is said to be 60-100beats per minute; not everyone outside this range is abnormal.
Whenever there is a normal sinus rhythm and rate is higher than normally expected, we look for secondary causes like low hemoglobin, thyroid disorder, smoking, excess of tea/ coffee, fever, anxiety, stress etc. Since you are obese, this also contribute to higher rise in heart rate on exertion. Heart is usually not at fault in such cases if there are no other symptoms of heart disease.
A simple clinical examination and ECG by your physician will be enough to decide if you require any further workup or not.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
