Provide cooler temperature
Detailed Answer:
Hi, welcome to this forum. Can understand your concerns.
Red rash for boils in a 5 month old child could be due to heat boils, or skin infection like pyoderma.
In case of skin infection like pyoderma, there are pus filled rash which increase over time and is usually present all over the body. Unless antibiotic is given the rash continues to increase. Fever is also present in this case.
In case of heat boils, there is history of exposure to hot temperature, it usually present over exposed body parts, fever is not associated with heat boils. In case of heat boils, you should provide cooler temperature to child, there is no need to apply any medicated cream over it. You can also apply XXXXXXX baby powder over the rash which will decrease the heat boils.
I hope this will help you. Wishing your childhood health take care.
