Question : My wife is feeling stomach heavy even after eating very small food from last 10 days now she is feeling uneasy

Its due to Indigestion

Detailed Answer:
HI

Thanks for choosing HCM.

She is most likely having Indigestion. The other possibility is Gastroparesis where the accommodative capacity of stomach and its motility is reduced .

Before going for evaluation for Gastroparesis I wold recommend that first we treat her for Indigestion .

I would recommend that she get a prescription for the following medications.

1. Rabeprezole+Levosulpride -- Every morning empty stomach.
2. Syrup Aristozyme -- 2 teaspoons 3 times a day after food for 7 days .

In addition let her avoid very oily food , non veg food , Potato . Other than potato eat more of vegetables and fruits .

After her lunch and dinner let her not just sit idle or sleep. Ask her to do walking for 10-15 minutes immediately after lunch and dinner.

I think with these measures her problem shall resolve .

At present there is no need for any tests or scan, just start these medications if problem still persists after 7 days then get Ultrasound Abdomen scan , LFT and Serum Potassium , Amylase tests done and revert back with reports.
