Is there anything I can do now? I couldn't sleep last night bc I was in so much pain & I took hydrocodone for the pain & it barely helps

Hello dear, I understand your problem.
Hydrocodone will not help you and rather you need tablet tranexemic acid with mefanemic acid thrice a day for 3 days.
If still pain persists then take tablet drotin thrice a day along with the above medicine.
I hope above measures will help you.
Also lie down on your tummy over a hot water bottle right there in your pelvic area (this will give you a lot of comfort).

Tranexemuc acid is a procoagulant and this will decrease the menstrual flow.
Mefenamic acid and drotin are anti spasmodics (but with different mode of action) and thus will relieve pain.
Take them and you will relieved of the symptoms soon.

No dear, they don't have that effect on mind but drotin causes relaxation of all the muscles of body and thus helps to relax and fall asleep early in some people.
