Brief Answer:
Ultrasound and if required, endometrial biopsy

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.Heavy and short cycles are usually due to pathology in uterus or its lining like fibroids, adenomyosis, , endometriosis, endometrial hyperplasia or carcinoma.
I will suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist, to get properly examined internally, investigated including ultrasound and if required, endometrial biopsy, and get further treatment accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

at this point do u think i should see a different specialist?

why would my endometrium be thick I'm not pregnant actually I've been trying to conceive for the past 2 yrs
i have chronic pelvic pain daily it even feels hot inside my pelvis
I'm still bleeding heavy

Answered by Dr. Deepti Verma (10 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Progesterone should be given

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, endometrial tissue can be thick because of pathological changes in the endometrium like endometrial hyperplasia or cystic glandular hyperplasia.

You should take progesterone cyclically for 3-6 cycles to improve the condition of the endometrium and decrease the flow of bleeding.

There is no need to consult any other specialist than an OBGYN specialist.

dose that mean i might have cancer og the endometrium I'm confused
could it be related to my bladdar my pelvic pain?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Deepti Verma (9 hours later)
Brief Answer:
endometrial biopsy will be confirmatory

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, chances of endometrial carcinoma are rare at your age, however it should be completely ruled out by endometrial biopsy.
Pain in the lower abdomen can be due to bladder infection, however heavy bleeding is not explained by it.
