Question : I have a question regarding two medicines, i am in on my period now and my doctor suggest me to take a tablet called"Siphene" before two days. and now i am experiencing heavy bleeding, so i contacted my doctor again and then she suggested to have a tablet called "trapic- 500mg"(two capsules at a time). and she did not clarify that whether can we use both the medicine together. She is not reachable now.. so bit confused and worried ..
Brief Answer:
Avoid Siphene for this cycle
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
Sorry for the delay in my response.
Avoid taking Siphene for this month. The heavy bleeding though rarely it could be caused by Siphene, hence stopping would be a wise idea.
Also, there is no too much danger if you have already taken. Avoid from the next time.
You can continue trapic 500 mg twice daily if bleeding continues to be more. Do not take it for more than 3 days.
Hope, I answered your query.
