Question: My 22 year old son has been 6 foot 1 inch since he was 19 this week he lost two incheshe lost the 2 inches from his legs how could that be I am concerned and he is so upset. Can he get those two inches back

The measurement could be false.

I have never heard / read or seen such incidents of height loss unless post fracture or vertebra collapse. Since you did not report any such events in the history, I feel there was a measuring error. I suggest you to retest with the same measuring instrument that was used earlier.
