What Causes Hemorrhoids?

default
Posted on Thu, 29 May 2014
Question: Hi,
I notice when I wipe , after a bowel movement , a small ball type thing at the part of the hole
(closer to the penis side), it is more felt when the cavity is relaxed and open wide. I was curious if wiping too hard around the area can cause incontinence later in life?
aside for what that ball type thing is ?
I would appreciate your reply

Brief Answer:
Possibly Hemorrhoids

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Continence of stools depends on integrity of anal sphincter and puborectalis muscle. Wiping will not affect the continence.
Ball like thing coming out through the rectum from one side could be Hemorrhoids (pile)
Exact diagnosis will depend on clinical examination. It would be more helpful if you could provide clinical photograph.

Take care
