Question: They say I have extra bone growth attaching to my hip replacements. Showed hot spots there and ribs .?

If its solid and giving restriction of movement then excision can be done.

Lesion in rib need to be evaluated.
PET -SCAN if not done will help.

Radiation therapy has some role in reducing bone growth you can consult your doctor for treatment.
